Timesheets and excess-time
[CHORE] Add a user setting to control the default visibility of start and end fields in timecards. This is actually super handy. If you have staff that are overwhelmed by choice and can’t decide on completing their timesheet by end time or duration – you (and they) can now control which fields are shown.
[CHORE] Show more info about historic schedule assignments. History is important, even if they say it is only written by the winners. Nowadays, that isn’t true – AI can write any history you want it to, and sometimes even not what you want. Anyway… oh yeah, historic shifts are important as well, so now you can view them.
[FIX] Show public holiday hours on schedule listing. This is important, so we added it.
[FIX] Fix syncing issue when shifting RDO and it doesn’t update the listing automatically and [FIX] Fix syncing issue when updating schedule, and it doesn’t update the listing automatically. You know how cool that whole new shift RDO functionality is? Well, it’s less cool if it is not updating the listing straight away. So we made it cool…er and fixed this. The same problem actually existed for schedules in general (but don’t tell anyone that).
[FIX] Fix issues with plant and ad hoc allowance adjustments after scheduled break is deducted in the timecard. Oh goodness, this was a good one. It turned out we could deduct breaks from records of work, but not also adjust any related plant or ad hoc allowances automatically. So, kinda like a half-done job on that one. Now you adjust a record of work, and it adjusts everything related to the record of work. Good yes.
[FIX] Fix issue on timecard when the system prompts the user to add scheduled break even if the number of hours in the block is under the minimum set in the shift. Speaking of breaks, if you haven’t done the time, you haven’t done the crime. Wait, that doesn’t seem correct. Anyway, if you haven’t worked enough hours to trip the break requirement, you don’t get the break, so you shouldn’t be getting a reminder to have a break. So now you don’t.
[FIX] Fix incorrect hours to be paid shown on the timesheets project view summary. So many views, so much data. But regardless, if you look at a different view but it has the same data, then the data should be the same – because otherwise you might FREAK OUT… oh so now it is it.
[FIX] Fix syncing issue when toggling period excess-time between primary/secondary rules. If you toggled between the rules quickly enough, not only could you get the button hot enough to start a fire, but you could also create an error. Now you can’t do that anymore. But there are other ways to start fires, so I believe everyone will be okay.
[FIX] Fix issue where decimal places are being rounded for contracted hours when assigning a role to a user. Oh, not this obsession with rounding again. Just let the numbers be, I say (and because I pretty much get to make the rules, so it shall be). You want contracted hours to have part hours, then 100% you can do that.
[FIX] Fix period excess-time calculations when there is offset penalties on period. If users are entitled to excess time over the period and penalties that offset worked hours, well, who are we to say no? So we say yes.
Leave
[CHORE] Add option to forecast leave balances and paginate results into “My team leave details”. This means managers can check to see how much leave someone will have (or their team will have) at Christmas – or any time, really.
Reports
[CHORE] Allow plant coordinators to download costing by payrun reports. Oh, this is pretty cool – plant coordinators can do this now.
[CHORE] Update report “Payrun costing report” to work with Silicon.
API / Mobile and Kiosk
[FIX] Fix issue where payroll integration fails when period has a public holiday and staff start after the holiday during the same payrun period. We didn’t see this coming, but it is a thing. Or was a thing. It is not a thing anymore.
[CHORE] Add option to integration rule that offsets leave hours based on condition to allow triggering for leave taken on public holidays. Basically, depending on the day of the week or if it is a public holiday, the leave can be passed to completely different leave types. Because, yeah, we did that.
[FIX] Fix relationship error found on logs when sending broadcasts after leave request is placed.

Oh, and we made a bunch of new API services to support functions including:

Other stuff
[FIX] Fix issue where assignments cannot be ended on the last day of the most recently closed payrun period. What is this error, you ask? Well, it is pretty much just what it says – it was still annoying if you triggered it, though.
[FIX] Fix issue where payroll officers are unable to terminate users. Everyone got to work forever for a brief minute, but now – well, they can be set free again. And maybe if they loved it, they will come back. Is this actually true? Does it help with a broken heart? Is it just a line from a sad love song? I don’t know, but that is what the internet is for.
[FIX] Fix issue where payrun number and year cannot be updated in Silicon. We actually stopped this in Silicon and didn’t even pick it up. Until someone went to do it and was all like ‘what’ and we were like ‘what’ and then they were like ‘oh you fixed it’ – and we were like ‘of course’.
