Where to stay when attending the conference
Our conference is to be held at Darling Island (marked by the black circle on the map below).
Closest options – Pyrmont
The nearest area to the venue is Pyrmont, with plenty of accommodation options within easy walking distance.

Other convenient options
- Ferry access: The venue is just a 500m walk from Pyrmont Bay Ferry Terminal, so staying in North Sydney or anywhere along the ferry route is a convenient option.
- Light rail access: The Star light rail stop is right by the venue (3 min walk). Any accommodation, therefore, in the vicinity of the light rail line, such as Glebe or Central Train Station, provides an easy commute.
- Train access: If you stay anywhere along the Central Train Line, you can transfer to the light rail at Central Station (indicated on the map below with the red marker) and be at The Star in just 15 minutes.
- Walking: Pyrmont Bridge provides easy walking access from Sydney CBD to Pyrmont Bay. An approximate 15-minute/1.3km walk from Sydney Aquarium.
