Workgroups are designed for any functional team where two or more staff perform the same work on the same job, at the same time. It reduces repetitive administration, improves consistency and gives supervisors more time to support their crews.

From crews of two to fifty-two, workgroups adapt to the way councils operate. It supports multiple workgroups, changing team members, different supervisors and flexible operational structures.

Individual records remain protected. If an employee already has leave recorded, existing work entries or conflicting timesheet information, the workgroup skips that employee and notifies the supervisor.

Employees continue to manage and submit their own individual timesheets, ensuring accountability while simplifying crew-based work.

Flexible Workgroup roles ensure the right people have the right responsibilities. Workgroup Coordinators create, configure and maintain workgroups, while Workgroup Supervisors record work for their crews and apply it to the relevant individual timesheets.
