elementAGENT (coming soon!)

Ask the question. Find what matters.

'Who worked on ANZAC Day?'

'Which employees worked beyond their contracted hours without excess time being triggered?'

'Is there anything unusual in this payrun that needs a closer look?'

One thing most Councils have in common is the fact they have all the information to answer questions like these.

The other thing they have in common is getting that information so they can answer the questions is not always easy.

Sometimes it is in a report, sometimes across several records, and sometimes you need to know exactly where to look before you can even start.

Meet elementAGENT. An optional AI extension for you and your data. elementAGENT is designed to help you ask questions of your workforce information and get to the records that matter.

Less time hunting through excel rows. More time understanding what is happening.

elementAGENT answering a question about employees who recorded worked hours on Anzac Day.

The question is the starting point

Payroll teams, managers and supervisors rarely wake up thinking, “I'd love a spreadsheet with another 10,000 rows.”

They want to know who needs attention, what changed, and whether something looks different from what they expected. A manager might ask which team members worked outside their usual pattern. Payroll might want to find records that need a second look before the payrun moves on.

elementAGENT is being built around those real questions. The aim is to help people find relevant records, exceptions and patterns in the information they are already authorised to see, then let them investigate with the right context.

Your data is already doing the work. We want to make it easier to find out what you want to know.

Answers with the context to act

A useful answer should do more than sound confident. You need to know which records it is based on, what it means and when a person needs to make the call.

That is why we are designing elementAGENT to help you get back to the underlying information. Where an answer draws on an approved award, agreement, contract or other source, the goal is to show the basis for it so your team can check and understand the response.

And if the information cannot support a reliable answer? elementAGENT should say so. A good question deserves an honest answer, even when the answer is “we need to check.”

Your rules and permissions still matter

elementAGENT is another way to work with information in elementTIME and your own documents, existing procedures and even your own knowledge base. It is not a new payroll engine, and it does not decide entitlements in place of your configured rules, approvals and processes.

We are building it around the boundaries councils already expect:

Access follows the user. A person should only be able to ask about the employees and information they are authorised to access in elementTIME.

Councils stay separate. One council's information must not become another council's answer.

The answer has a trail. People need to be able to understand what information was used and check the result.

The existing system keeps working. elementTIME continues to operate whether your council chooses elementAGENT or not.

Council information provided to elementAGENT is intended to be used to deliver the requested function, not to train AI models. We are designing the service so external AI providers do not retain that information. The detailed data handling and controls will be confirmed before councils enable it.

Add it when it makes sense for your council

elementAGENT is being developed as an opt-in capability. Your council can decide whether to use it and where it would make the biggest difference. If you do not enable it, your existing elementTIME workflows continue as they are.

We are starting with a practical job: make it easier to ask a question and find the workforce information that helps answer it. From there, we can build a clearer picture across the work, people and payroll processes your council already manages.

Ask the question. Find what matters. See the bigger picture.
